SonoQueen HIFU – The Non-surgical Facelift

SonoQueen HIFU – The Non-surgical Facelift

SonoQueen HIFU is a safe, effective, and minimally invasive nonsurgical face-lifting procedure. It is one of the few cosmetic procedures out there which procure an intense effect, without leaving any noticeable marks on the surface of the skin in the process. It has a fantastic firming and anti aging effect, and is ideal for improving the condition of skin on the face and body!

How does HIFU work?

The technology of HIFU utilises highly focused ultrasound waves. Ultrasound waves penetrate the sking to a depth of 1.5 to 4 mm – depending on the area of the body being treated. Under the influence of these waves, the skin tissue becomes overheated. This induces an intensive renewal and regeneration process within the skin – new collagen fibres form, which translates to an increase in the thickness and elasticity of skin, filling out of wrinkles, and reduction of scars and stretch marks.

Benefits of HIFU technology

How is HIFU superior to other methods of anti aging and regenerating skin procedures ?

Due to its extremely precise and safe use of ultrasound waves, the HIFU procedure ensures maximum effect without the need for a long rehabilitation period. It is often called “the nonsurgical face lift”.

Biggest advantages of HIFU technology:

  • High precision- the procedure only targets precisely defined, deep layers of the skin
  • High degree of guaranteed safety- the procedure is non-invasive, while the results are comparable to that of a surgical facelift
  • Doesn’t require a reconvalescence period- skin after the procedure may be slightly reddened, however, in comparison to other methods of aesthetic medicine the after effects last a spectaculary brief period of time and are almost unnoticeable
  • Immediately visible effects- the initial results are visible directly after completion of the procedure, while the following weeks yield further, more permanent and far-reaching effects as the skin regenerates
  • Non-irritating to the the skin- only the dermis is affected, thereby circumventing epidermal irritation
  • Natural effect- HIFU utilises each individual’s own skin regenerating abilites, ensuring natural-looking effects
  • Long-term effects- the procedure regenerates damaged skin, thanks to which it returns to its original, youthful appearance and structure- while other procedures often require regularly repeated sessions in order to acquire the same effects
  • Quick and comfortable- the procedure is very quick, and can be carried out even one day before an important event, eg as a “party-prep” procedure. The lack of skin irritation enables normal functioning without requiring makeup to cover up.

HIFU contraindications

Although HIFU is very safe, certain contraindications must be accounted for before undergoing such a procedure. An interview is carried out beforehand, which includes the patient’s expectations of the treatment, the outcomes of the treatment, elaboration on the stages of the procedure, as well as post-treatment skin care at home.

  • Tendency to from hypertrophic scars
  • Recent intensive cosmetic procedures, such as chemical skin peeling
