Needle mesotherapy

NEEDLE MESOTHERAPY

Needle mesotherapy is an effective method of delivering active ingredients to the skin’s interior layers. The treatment makes it possible to overcome the barrier of the epidermis, which renders the treatment much more effective, as opposed to classical therapy methods. It’s a great way to reduce wrinkles, acne, dilated capillaries, blemishes and other aesthetic problems!

How does needle mesotherapy work?

The skin is a barrier which protects every organism from the damaging effects of substances that exist in our external environment. Penetrating the deeper layers of skin is almost impossible without first overcoming this barrier. It is this very problem which makes so many cosmetics ineffective, as they only work on the exterior layers of our epidermis.

In order to achieve truly spectacular effects, the treatment must reach the dermis, where the source of most aesthetic problems lies. One of the simplest, safest, and simultaneously most effective ways of accessing the dermis is via direct injection of active ingredients. This is exactly how needle mesotherapy works.

What are the benefits of needle mesotherapy?

The key factors which influence the results of needle mesotherapy are the exact components of the mixture of medicinal substances which will be injected into the skin. We have a variety of such medicinal cocktails at our disposal, whose active ingredients are designed to target a specific aesthetic problem. Depending on the product chosen, the effects are:

  • improvement of nutrition, hydration and oxygenation of the skin,
  • definition of the complexion, reduction of wrinkles and skin laxity
  • optimisation of skin tone, discoloration elimination,
  • control of excessive production of sebum, reduction of the number of blackheads and acne-related inflammatory changes,
  • reduction of post-inflammatory scars, acne scars,
  • strengthening of weak, bursting blood vessels,
  • restoring the tension, firmness and elasticity of the skin,
  • reduction of dark circles under the eyes

Mesotherapy is often performed on other areas of the body than the face. Treatments yield very good results in treatment of:

  • local excess of adipose tissue,
  • Cellulite
  • lack of skin firmness
  • Stretch marks
  • Scars
  • Hair loss problems

How is this procedure carried out? How often should it be repeated?

Before the mesotherapy treatment, the skin may be anaesthetized with a special ointment. The treatment consists of injecting into the skin, to a depth of about 2-3 mm, cocktails containing active ingredients, which we choose individually depending on the current needs and condition of the complexion of the patient. The punctures are made at intervals of approx. 5-10 mm over the entire surface of the face or in the selected area of the body. Thanks to the use of anesthetic ointment, the procedure is not painful. Small scabs, redness, or bruising may develop at the injection site. All such symptoms disappear within a few days.

To obtain maximum results, it is worth completing a series of 4-6 treatments. The interval between individual treatments in the series should be between 1 to 3 weeks.

Are there any contraindications?

  • active bacterial or viral infections of the skin,
  • allergy to active ingredients contained in preparations used during the procedure
  • tendency to form hypertrophic scars
  • anticoagulation drugs
  • pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Cancer
